Virtual, High School Students

Event is over. Come back for BlairHacks_6 in Spring 2023!

We're back for BlairHacks_5!

BlairHacks_5 is a 36-hour hackathon hosted by MBHS students in Silver Spring, MD. At BlairHacks, high school students in the DMV area are challenged to bring their innovative ideas to life in the form of websites, apps, and robots. Our hackathon is free and accessible to all high school students thanks to our wonderful sponsors.

At our previous iteration in 2020, BlairHacks_4 brought together over 80 in-person attendees from 6+ high schools around the DMV. We're excited for another year of BlairHacks and to continue to spread our love for coding throughout our community!

Hacking is back

Due to COVID-19, we aren't able to host an in-person event this year. BlairHacks_5 will be hosted virtually via Discord and Zoom!

We will still host plenty of fun and engaging virtual activities such as workshops, gaming nights, and much more.

See our live site as the event nears. We will have a more detailed schedule there as well as everything else you'll need to know for attending!

Get Involved

Mentors

Mentors provide hands-on guidance to help attendees build out their project ideas. If you have experience in computer science, entrepreneurship, design, and/or finance, we'd love to have you as a mentor!

Judges

Judges help determine the winners for each track at the end of the hackathon. If you have industry experience as a developer, entrepreneur, or another related field, we'd love to have you as a judge!

Mentors and judges are ineligible to participate in the hackathon. Swag will still be provided!
